Caria Manor location and enemies
Caria Manor is located near the far northwest edge of the region. From the Northern Liurnia Lake Shore site of grace, head north along dry land through the Kingsrealm Ruins to reach the Road to the Manor site of grace.
Continue north across brushland to approach the building. Your approach is treacherous due to glintstone arrow barrages fired by a distant ballista. Watch for them ahead of you, and then move quickly to one side or the other as they approach to make sure they miss. You should soon arrive safely at the open front gates, where you can activate the Main Caria Manor Gate site of grace.
Caria Manor loot
Beyond granting you access to important areas of the map, your journey through Caria Manor allows you to find powerful equipment in the form of the Carian Piercer, Crystal Dart, Ice Crest Shield, Sword of Night and Flame, Urumi, and Loretta’s Greatbow. Additionally, you will find a Gold Seed, the Ash of War: Carian Grandeur, Ash of War: Loretta’s Slash, Ash of War: Chilling Mist, and the Glintstone Craftsman’s Cookbook [6], to say nothing of smithing stones and farmable materials. Finally, you gain access to the merchant Pidia, who sells precious goods of his own.
Main Caria Manor Gate site of grace

There are items all over the gardens you enter along the edge of the manor grounds, but the best gear waits along the right side. You should make a few runs through the garden and return to the site of grace to recharge until you have gathered everything you want. There are dangerous enemies on the grounds, including giant hands that drop from high walls or arches. Two of them wait on the buildings to the left and right of the main stone pathway, near the manor’s entrance. Eliminate them one at a time from a distance using magic, if possible.
Along the wall to the far right of the area, enter a room to find the Glintstone Craftsman’s Cookbook [6]. As you continue along the stone walkway from there, watch out for sword traps. They appear as swords stuck into the pathway, but when you get near, they start glowing and discharge a magical blast. There also are magic users in this area. They move slowly but fire glintstone sorcery in your direction.
Not far past the sword traps, through some grass, you’ll find the Ice Crest Shield resting on a corpse near a building. Then, near the central walkway through the garden, there is a scarab. Dispatch it quickly for the Carian Piercer sorcery, or else it could lead you into an ambush.

Continue along the path where you killed the scarab to access the chapel. Several smaller hands and one large one lurk just ahead of it. If your resources are running low, you might want to risk a run past them to reach the building. Climb the stairs, and you’ll find the Manor Lower Level site of grace.
Manor Lower Level site of grace
Head outside the archway from the Manor Lower Level site of grace, battling spectral soldiers as you head along a walkway. Proceed until you reach a fork in the path ahead of a high wall.
The left path
If you head left fromthe fork, you’ll follow the walkway to reach another square tower at the end, with a Rune Arc resting on a corpse near its back side. On the approach to that tower, drop through an opening in the left wall to reach a lower wall, then drop down again to arrive at the top of a ladder. Descend the ladder to arrive in a small room where you can snag the Sword of Night and Flame from a treasure chest.
The right path

Return to the fork in the path, and this time head right instead of left. Follow a series of walkways while various spectral soldiers attack. Watch out for sword traps along the walkway as you do battle. Listen for the sound of soldiers materializing out of thin air, since they like to appear behind you and may fire projectile magic or arrows.

When you reach the far end of that series of walkways, you’ll see a wide set of stairs ascending toward a tower. Climb the stairs and catch a lift to the upper level, and then proceed forward to access the Manor Upper Level site of grace.
Manor Upper Level site of grace
At the Manor Upper Level site of grace, you should take a moment to backtrack for the Urumi.
To find it, ride the lift back down and descend the wide steps. Here, look for a place where you can jump to a lower bit of wooden scaffolding, and from there to more scaffolding so you reach a wide platform where you can proceed in two directions.
If you head a short distance to the left, you can check under some wooden stairs for the Golden Rune [3]. If you head right at the fork instead, the ledges lead you to a wide area with some of the smaller hands. Defeat those enemies, then grab the Urumi on the far side of the ledge. If you want, continue along the walkways to fight an armored enemy and eventually reach a Somber Smithing Stone [3].
Wolves, a Golden Seed, the Troll Knight Sword
Back at the Manor Upper Level site of grace, head out of the opening.
Directly ahead, a Golden Seed rests beneath a glowing sapling. Wolves guard this area. Defeat them or sneak past them and head up the stairs ascending to the right until you see a wide staircase ahead of you with a large enemy standing guard. You can fight him if you like (he does drop the Troll Knight Sword when defeated), or you can head left to find a ladder that brings you to some upper ledges to the left. Follow those ledges while dispatching a few weak enemies in order to sneak behind the big guy if you don’t feel like sparring. You can also attack from the high vantage point, where his attacks are unlikely to reach you. Just be careful of the sorcerers who aid him.
Upstairs
From the top of the wide steps the Troll Knight guarded, two narrower stairways lead to higher ground. Along the left steps, you’ll find Rimed Crystal Buds x5. There are two quick enemies here (one clings to the wall, and will drop to surprise you as you get near). Wear them down with magic from a distance if you can before moving in to eliminate them with melee attacks.
At the top of those steps, a wide archway leads to the area’s boss, but first you should take a detour through an opening in the wall to the left, which is partially obscured by some trees. You can pass through the gap and descend very carefully along wooden scaffolding to reach a graveyard built along a series of stone ledges.
Scaffolding, Living Jars, and Carian Grandeur
To begin your descent, first climb onto the crumbling stone railing and ascend to its highest point against the wall. Then drop straight down to a lower bit of wooden scaffolding. Continue dropping along ledges from there, battling jars that come to life as you approach. They are weak to magic and to magic-infused weapons. At the lowest portion of the cliffs, drop to a segment of manor wall. Near its end, check the corpse for the Ash of War: Carian Grandeur.
Royal Knight Loretta

Once you are prepared, return to the wide archway you ignored a moment ago. Start across the wide area to produce the area’s boss, Royal Knight Loretta. She rides a spectral steed, which is able to attack you with fierce kicks if you get behind it. Loretta herself uses a lengthy halberd at mid-range, or fires a variety of long-distance magic blasts with her bow. Roll to avoid those attacks, but anticipate several volleys before you have a chance to safely heal (if needed). Summons can keep her busy for part of the battle, but she’s good at killing them off before the end. Once you defeat her, she drops the Loretta’s Greatbow sorcery and you gain Ash of War: Loretta’s Slash.

You also prompt the Royal Moongazing Grounds site of grace to appear.
Three Sisters
:no_upscale()/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/23342975/Elden_Ring_Caria_Manor_Three_Sisters.jpg)
Passing through a new opening along the edge of the area where you fought Loretta leads to an area along the edge of the manor called Three Sisters. Head left here and follow the trail while keeping an eye to your right. Check the crumbling ruins to find a scarab you should quickly defeat to acquire Ash of War: Chilling Mist. Then return to the trail.
Pidia, Carian Servant
Continue along the trail a short distance south and then veer left to find a series of rock ledges. Drop along them to reach scaffolding. Follow the scaffolding to reach a rooftop located within the proper manor grounds. Then descend a ladder to find a room with the merchant Pidia, who sells numerous precious items including Ash of War: Carian Retaliation, a Larval Tear, the Glintstone Craftsman’s Cookbook [7], the Ripple Blade, a Celestial Dew, and the Weathered Map. You should have enough runes to buy everything after defeating Loretta. Check along the balcony he occupies for the Spellproof Dried Liver, as well.
Rooftops, Old Fang, a crab, and a Stonesword Key
Climb the ladder back to the rooftop, and you can ascend some steps to reach the building’s eaves. Head to their peak to find Old Fang x5.
Next, look around to spot a section of wall to the southwest, which leads toward another tower. Drop to that wall and follow it to reach an opening along the wall to your left. Drop through that opening and continue onward to approach a giant crab.
If you fire projectile magic from a distance before dropping to the last segment of wooden scaffolding, the creature may rush you and fall off the wall. This allows you to easily claim the Stonesword Key it guarded. Once you grab that item, your first visit to the manor has concluded.
