In this Elden Ring Flask of Wondrous Physick guide, we’ll tell you where to find the Flask of Wondrous Physick, how to use it, and then point you to the Crystal Tears to find in Limgrave.
Elden Ring’s Flask of Wondrous Physick is a powerful flask that supplements your default Flasks of Crimson and Cerulean Tears. You’ll be able to mix your own concoctions to gain special effect using Crystal Tears that you find in the Lands Between.
Where to find the Flask of Wondrous Physick
You won’t start Elden Ring with the Flash of Wondrous Physick in your inventory, so you’ll have to explore a little to find it. Luckily, it’s not far from where you start the game.

Head into East Limgrave and look for the Third Church of Marika. You’ll find the Flask of Wondrous Physick in front of the statue. You’ll also find your first Crystal Tear — a Crimson Crystal Tear — here.
Using the Flask of Wondrous Physick
With the Flask of Wondrous Physick in hand, you’ll get a new option when you rest at a site of grace. Choose Mix Wondrous Physick, and you can to choose as many as two Crystal Tears to add to your flask. Which Tears you choose will determine the effect of drinking the flask.
The Flask of Wondrous Physick only gets one charge per rest, but the effects last quite a while. There is no way to add charges to it.
Crystal Tear locations
There are 29 types of Crystal Tears to find in Elden Ring — with a few multiples of the same kind adding up to 32 Crystal Tears total. Broadly speaking, they’re found near Minor Erdtrees, but you will find a few out in the wild.

Crimsonburst Crystal Tear | Steadily restores HP for a time | You’ll get this Crystal Tear along with the Opaline Bubbletear for defeating the Erdtree Avatar near the Minor Erdtree in Weeping Peninsula |
Faith-Knot Crystal Tear | Temporarily boosts faith | North of the Demi-Human Ruins in the Weeping Peninsula, you’ll find this Crystal Tear in a stone bowl near the cliffs — it’s protected by three poisonous plants |
Greenspill Crystal Tear | Temporarily boosts stamina | There’s no Erdtree Avatar around the Minor Erdtree in the Mistwood region of East Limgrave, so you’ll just grab this Crystal Tear along with the Spiked Cracked Crystal Tear from the small stone bowl found there |
Opaline Bubbletear | Significantly negates damage | You’ll get this Crystal Tear along with the Crimsonburst Crystal Tear for defeating the Erdtree Avatar near the Minor Erdtree in Weeping Peninsula |

Strength-Knot Crystal Tear | Temporarily boosts strength | Look for a small stone bowl on the plateau just northwest of the Warmaster’s Shack in West Limgrave |
